We are always looking for talented and committed bachelor and master students from chemistry or strongly related fields (HIWI, ACIII module, Bachelor Thesis, Master modules, Advanced Laboratory, Master Thesis). We are also welcoming international students for internships at any time (e.g. Erasmus+).

PhD positions:
We are currently looking for a
PhD Candidate (m/f/d) in the field of 'Coordination Cages as Photoactive Materials'
The position is temporary limited (initially for 3 years) and will be paid according to German public-sector. The aim of the project is the synthesis of heteroleptic coordination cages with photoactive ligands in the cage scaffold.
Your profile:
You have an above-average university degree (MSc or equivalent) in Chemistry or strongly related fields and already experience in coordination and/or supramolecular chemistry. Preferably, you have furthermore experience in the synthesis of organic ligands and/or photophysical or photochemical characterisation of solution-state materials. You are characterized by a high degree of motivation, scientific interest and the ability to work independently in a structured manner. Very good knowledge of German and/or English (written and spoken) is required.
